Volunteering at Stonebridge City Farm

At HWA, our commitment to community well-being reaches far beyond the workplace. As part of our Corporate Social Values initiative, four of our dedicated team members recently volunteered at Stonebridge City Farm in Nottingham.

Nestled in the heart of the city, Stonebridge City Farm offers a vital green space for families and the wider community. As a charitable organisation, the farm depends heavily on donations and volunteer support to continue its mission. We were proud to lend a helping hand by dedicating a day of manual labour to assist with their ongoing efforts.

Our team consisted of Joe, Mark, Michelly, and Omar. They rolled up their sleeves to prepare a section of land for grass seeding, transforming it into a future paddock for the farm’s animals. Though the work was physically demanding, the sense of accomplishment was undeniable. Their efforts not only improved the farm’s infrastructure but also supported its long-term sustainability goals.

Despite the sore muscles, the team left with a deep sense of pride, knowing their contribution made a meaningful impact on a cherished local space.
