Structural Engineer

Are you an experienced graduate with a passion for structural engineering and at least two years of post-graduate industry experience? We’re expanding our Structural Engineering team and are looking for a dedicated, technically skilled engineer to join us in delivering high-impact projects across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified engineer with hands-on experience to take the next step in their career, playing a lead role in delivering diverse and complex structural designs while growing professionally in a collaborative, supportive environment.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll be a key player in delivering structural engineering solutions across a broad range of sectors, including residential, commercial, education, blue light, and local authority projects. You will:

• Lead Project Delivery: Take a lead role in the design and delivery of structural engineering solutions, working across multiple stages from concept through to detailed design.
• Diverse Project Portfolio: Engage with a variety of projects, from domestic-scale developments to larger projects valued up to £30M, providing you with a breadth of experience and technical challenges.
• Technical Leadership: Apply your in-depth knowledge of structural design principles to create innovative, efficient solutions across all common building materials.
• Collaborative Work Environment: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful delivery of projects. You’ll be expected to take on leadership responsibilities while also supporting team members with your expertise.
• Client Interaction: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and providing exceptional service.

About You

We’re looking for an engineer who is eager to take on more responsibility and continue to develop their technical expertise. Ideally, you will have:

Client-Focused Approach: A strong commitment to delivering high-quality service and maintaining long-term client relationships.

Proven Experience: Experience in structural design across all common building materials, with a solid understanding of the relevant design standards and principles.

Leadership Potential: Ability to take charge of project delivery, guide less experienced team members, and manage workloads effectively to meet project deadlines.

Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of key software packages such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, AutoCAD, and ideally, an understanding of Revit and BIM processes.

Problem-Solving Skills: A track record of successfully solving complex technical challenges and delivering innovative solutions.

Team Player with Communication Skills: A proactive communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment and can coordinate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
