Senior Technician
Joe began his professional journey in illustration, eventually transitioning to a career as a structural technician, where he has gained nearly 11 years of experience. This career shift was inspired by a family member, aligning Joe’s interest in buildings and his drawing skills with a move to Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
Throughout his diverse career, Joe has gained considerable experience in structural engineering, consistently advancing his skills with tools like Revit. He excels at creating innovative, clean, and easy-to-read drawings, a strength he is eager to leverage in his new role. One of Joe’s career highlights includes his contribution to the installation of the Blue Whale and Titanosaur exhibits at the Natural History Museum.
Joe is adept at working within small teams, engaging in idea discussions to achieve optimal solutions for clients’ projects. Clear and effective communication is a top priority for him. Known for producing precise and innovative drawings, Joe’s work is characterised by attention to detail. Focused on deepening his understanding and application of BIM technology, Joe is aiming to further develop his expertise to provide significant contributions to our projects.
Joe’s passion for problem-solving extends beyond his professional life into his personal interests. He enjoys DIY projects, which have so far included building sheds, improving loft access and reconstructing internal walls, showcasing his hands-on approach and practical skills.
