Signing off for the year

As we near the end of the year, we reflect on a year of dynamic growth and achievements at HWA. We’ve celebrated many project successes, welcomed new team members, and bid farewell to others.

As part of our dedication to fostering inclusivity, we have introduced additional well-being practices and embraced social value initiatives. In line with this, we volunteered a day of labour at a local charity farm and assisted Franklin Ellis Architects with their ‘everesting the steps’ venture for Comic Relief.

Sustainability remains a principle at the heart of our organisation and our Sustainability Business Group has completed our Carbon Management Action Plan to drive our carbon reduction measures.

We are thrilled to have received re-accreditation for ISO9001 for the next 3 years. In addition, we have also achieved accreditation as a real Living Wage Employer, adding to our list of accomplishments for the year.

This year has been marked by significant milestones, ranging from academic successes and promotions of team members to the introduction of long service awards. A truly special highlight is celebrating a decade of leadership from our Managing Director, a testament to a decade of success at HWA.

Our shared moments have extended beyond the office, with a summer highlight being our party held jointly with Franklin Ellis Architects and earlier in the year we enjoyed the drama of an escape room.

As we take a well-deserved break, we extend our warmest wishes for a joyful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Wishing you continued success in the coming year from everyone at Howard Ward Associates.
