As 2024 draws to a close, we take a moment to reflect on a year filled with project achievements, new beginnings, and cherished memories.
This year, we welcomed new colleagues to the HWA family while bidding a fond farewell to others. Our employee satisfaction survey confirmed HWA is a great place to work! The vast majority of responses reflected a high level of satisfaction with our organisational culture, work environment, and interpersonal relationships. A true testament to the dedication and commitment of our entire team in creating a positive and supportive workplace.
We celebrated the well-deserved promotion of Jack Thompson to Senior Engineer and an incredible milestone for our Practice Manager, Michaela Towers, who marked 20 years with HWA.
Our financial year end in April closed our most productive year to date showing 20% growth over the previous year.
In June, we reinforced our commitment to employee well-being by introducing the YuLife app. This innovative platform not only provides comprehensive financial protection but also encourages our team to stay active and prioritise their health.
June also saw us continuing our 14 years or ISO 9001 certification, underscoring our commitment to quality management.
In September, we launched our inaugural Sustainable September initiative, engaging in activities like community litter picking and promoting sustainable practices throughout the month. This followed the conclusion of our collaboration with Nottingham Trent University on their low carbon consultancy project earlier in the year.
