Wetmore Road Care Home, Burton upon Trent

A new care home adjacent to the River Trent within a historically industrial area of Burton on Trent.

An old leisure centre has been demolished to make way for the new building which will provide 78 en-suite bedrooms with communal amenities, all set in secure landscaped ground looking out onto the river.

HWA have been involved since planning stages undertaking a flood risk assessment and drainage strategy. The site is within a Flood Zone 2 and mitigation measures will be undertaken. HWA are undertaking structural & civil engineering consulting services including a pile design.
