The Oaks Phase 1

Completed in 2020, The Oaks 1 provides 378 student bedrooms in a mixture of cluster flats and studio apartments on a site near to the Warwick University Campus.

Initially providing due diligence advice HWA then provided a full range of engineering services for the development of this site close the Warwick University Campus. Formerly home to a vacant office building the area has been redeveloped accommodating a historic water course running through it. Civil and structural engineering design services were provided including the diversion of public sewers passing through the site. The end result is an attractive building combining its residential function with social, educational and fitness facilities. Ecology and landscaping have been key design elements to create a balanced and pleasant living environment.
