Prior to this redevelopment the site had been a petrol filling station with numerous below ground tanks requiring removal and validation. As the development name suggests, the site has historically been a stoneworks yard and numerous substantial concrete blocks were discovered below ground.

Constructed in conjunction with the adjacent Vogue Studios this building was also formed with a prefabricated timber frame constructed off a transfer structure. HWA were involved in the pre purchase due diligence and advice, ground investigation, site clearance scoping and monitoring, civil and structural engineering design through procurement and construction and adoptable off site highways connected to the project.

The structure is clad with a mixture of a single leaf of masonry, and metallic effect panels have been used. The site consists of a number of studio apartments in the upper floors and communal areas, administration rooms, utility areas, and disabled accommodation on the ground floor.
