Photovoltaic Installations – Non-residential

Our involvement with PV began when the sector was in its infancy and has grown as the industry has developed and matured.  

HWA have extensive experience of carrying out structural assessments on a diverse range of structures to ascertain their suitability for the installation of solar panels. To date, we have assessed around 250 non-residential buildings, usually either on behalf of building owners/occupiers or PV installers. 

They range from small industrial units to huge distribution centres, through schools and other public buildings, barns and leisure centres. High profile examples are Sadlers Wells Theatre and the “Walkie Talkie” tower in London. 

In addition to structural assessments, we also assist installers with temporary works advice and with the civil engineering/groundworks associated with large-scale battery and inverter installations. 

This is a diverse field in which we have developed extensive knowledge over the years, which enables us to be responsive to our clients’ needs. We pride ourselves on going the ‘extra mile’ to provide a bespoke service where needed.
