In a prime location just five minutes from the train station and city centre amenities, this project re-developed a disused industrial area and provides working spaces with attractive frontage onto the River Wey.

HWA provided full engineering consultancy from the start of the project to completion. This included due diligence, flood risk assessment and civil and structural engineering. The heavy industrial history of the site and high-water table created some challenges in the ground and flood risk mitigation was a key part of the design, with elevated floors and a flow path provided below the building.
This steel framed office building uses exposed concrete precast soffits and services to give a modern feel and provide exposed thermal mass.
A mixture of timber, terracotta, masonry and rendered external finishes give some articulation to the building elevations.
