Prior to the onset of the pandemic, the hospice staff worked from an outdated bungalow facility that had long outlived its suitability.

The existing building was a modern, single storey office building which was part of a small industrial development. The existing car park only comprised 12 spaces with a mix of accessible parking.

HWA’s comprehensive range of services for this project encompassed pre-planning support for the transformation of the existing single-story office building into a state-of-the-art Wellbeing Centre. The project involved the construction of a steel-framed entrance and the expansion of the car park, effectively doubling the number of available parking spaces from its original capacity.

The new well-being centre facilities include a lounge and kitchen, treatment and therapy rooms, a garden room for activities, exercise and counselling.
