New Lubbersthorpe Care Home

Construction of a 71 bedroom care facility, in collaboration with Wynbrook homes and Franklin Ellis architects.

This facility forms part of New Lubbesthorpe, a major development of around 4250 homes just east of Leicester, across the M1.
The proposed scheme will be situated in a mixed-use area next to the new primary school. The project also encompasses two-storey retail units and a medical centre on the first floor.

HWA have been involved since the planning stage, offering civil and structural engineering consultancy services. Areas of interest in the planning process were the roof pitch lines and attic rooms, which created a complex roof truss design.

New Lubbesthorpe care home is set to be a central part of the growing community in this new town.
