Quality student accommodation development in the heart of Bournemouth town centre on the former Westover Garage site.

The scheme sees the demolition of a section of the site facing Hinton road with an 8 storey buiding put in its place behind the former Westover Ice Rink. The new building has 163 bedrooms in studios or ‘Twodio’ format with associated servicing, utility, amenities and cycle parking.

Our involvement with the site began at inception providing crucial due diligence advice and initial assessments of the building. We explored various construction options and will be providing structural and civil engineering design consultancy services for the construction phase. The design includes a blue roof system to manage water discharge at a controlled rate, thus promoting responsible water management and contributing to the overall eco-friendly design.
