Cumberland Place

Completed in 2018 this 12 storey, high specification student accommodation scheme provides 204 bedrooms in a mixture of cluster flats and studios within a reinforced concrete frame. As well as living accommodation the development also includes ground floor amenity spaces including a gym, study areas and cycle and car parking.

HWA initially provided ground investigation services and demolition supervision monitoring. Previously an office building, the site was extremely narrow which increased the complexity, both of the demolition process and the ongoing construction for which HWA provided civil and structural engineering design services.
