Feeder Road is a part of a larger proposed regeneration project in the Temple Quarter area of Bristol, aiming to provide a vibrant place for students to live within Bristol’s largest regeneration project.

The project involves demolishing the existing building and replacing it with 4 blocks up to 15 stories high. HWA has provided engineering services throughout the pre-purchase, due diligence and planning process phases.

The planning application for the scheme was originally refused but was granted on appeal, with HWA instrumental in supporting on flood risk matters. This project has helped unlock the regeneration of the wider area.

Interestingly, Feeder Road is situated in an area historically occupied with heavy industry, and sits close to the original route of the River Avon. This was diverted around Bristol centre in the early 1800s to create the ‘floating harbour’ within Bristol.
