Planning permission obtained for Rush Lane development

We are pleased to have been involved in gaining the outline planning permission which has been granted for a new industrial estate at the junction of Rush Lane and Tamworth Road, Dosthill. The development will repurpose 17 acres of derelict brownfield land, creating 220,000 sq ft of commercial space.

The site issues are complex in terms of ground conditions and drainage. This resulted in extensive investigations and hydraulic modelling to devise a suitable drainage strategy to satisfy planning concerns. In line with sustainable development goals, the plans incorporate biodiversity enhancements and features to support local wildlife, ensuring an environmentally conscious approach.

Access to the site will be via the existing entrance on the A51 Tamworth Road, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding area.

Our team supported the project by providing essential pre-planning services, including a comprehensive Flood Risk Assessment and a drainage strategy, paving the way for this transformative redevelopment which will bring significant ecological and commercial improvement to the area.
