We are delighted to announce our involvement in a major project to build a new joint headquarters for Nottinghamshire Police and Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service. In collaboration once again with Henry Brothers, YMD Boon Architects and Gleeds, HWA will be providing civil and structural engineering services.
The three storey facility will include a control room, training centre, shared offices along with a gym and changing rooms. Positioned on land behind the current Police HQ at Sherwood Lodge, the new facility will form part of the wider campus of existing facilities and include a new access road and additional car parking.
We are proud to be part of this local project which will support the community, both in its construction with the creation of jobs, but also, once finished as a key facility for our local blue light services.
