What a day! On Saturday, our intrepid team took on the Midlands Tough Mudder at Belvoir Castle, diving headfirst into the 5K obstacle challenge – quite literally. From start to finish, it was mud, sweat, determination and plenty of teamwork.
The course tested participants with everything from shoulder-deep water and electric shocks to barbed-wire crawls and towering obstacles. But throughout it all, the team embodied what great teamwork is all about. No one was left behind, every challenge was tackled together, with teammates helping and encouraging one another every step of the way.

There was even a memorable Die Hard moment (IYKYK) at the infamous Everest obstacle. With Callum and Jack already at the top, Dave made his charge up the quarter pipe, but they could only hang on to his hand for so long before they had to let go, sending him sliding back down in dramatic fashion!
The final obstacle, Mudderhorn, saw the team conquer a daunting 40-foot A-frame structure with an equally impressive descent on the other side. Thankfully, all those hours spent climbing ladders at work turned out to be perfect preparation. Who knew?
The team was supported throughout the day by Giles, Dan and Jwan Ahmed, whose encouragement helped carry everyone through the toughest moments of the course.
With aching limbs, plenty of bruises, and mud in places they never knew existed, the team crossed the finish line with huge smiles on their faces and a tremendous sense of achievement.
We could not be prouder of our team and they helped raise vital funds for our charity partner, Harmless. They threw themselves wholeheartedly into the challenge and, when asked if they’d do it all again, the answer was an enthusiastic “yes!”
Well done to everyone involved. This is an incredible achievement and a fantastic example of teamwork in action. We are super proud of you.
