Happy New Year! Two project updates as we welcome 2019

We are pleased to announce our involvement in two exciting projects as they move into the planning application stage.

The consultation process has been completed and plans submitted for a 440 bed student accommodation complex in York. Developers Summix hope to develop a 2 acre brownfield site with sustainable buildings which will reflect the tradition and character of this ancient city. We are pleased to have been involved to date in feasibility work and hope to continue with full structural and civil engineering design services.

Closer to home, plans have been submitted for a 70 bed high quality care home by Charterpoint Senior Living on the site of the old police station on Grantham Road in Bingham. Part of the ‘10 year vision’ for the ever growing town, HWA have carried out feasibility work for the project and we hope to maintain involvement with structural and civil engineering services, ultimately providing a much needed residential care facility.
