From Emissions to Meadows, our Latest Steps Toward Net Zero

We’re pleased to share that we’ve finalised our Carbon Management Action Plan for 2025, following the completion of our 2024–2025 carbon emissions monitoring. We’re proud to report that we have once again reduced our overall carbon emissions.

As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, we’re also continuing our support for micro-offsetting through the fantastic initiative My Square Metre. This scheme transforms poor quality or brownfield land into protected wildflower meadows, enhancing biodiversity and locking in carbon for the long term.

As My Square Metre explains:

“After 30 years, the land will either remain wild meadowland or be used for green agricultural or innovation contracts, ensuring the carbon remains sequestered and biodiversity stays intact.”

This marks our second year of micro-offsetting, and we’re proud to have sequestered 113 kg of CO₂ to date, which is the equivalent of 37.67 m² of wildflowers. That’s enough to provide nectar for life to an estimated 13,561 bees. 🐝

It’s amazing what a relatively small contribution can achieve and we’re committed to continuing our journey toward a lower carbon, nature positive future.
