‘Everesting The Steps’ for Comic Relief 2023

Following the successful events in 2017 and 2019 we joined the Franklin Ellis Architects team who were again attempting to climb the equivalent of Mount Everest at the historic Park steps in Nottingham.

The steep steps were once part of an ancient path between Lenton and Nottingham city centre and were cut when the Duke of Newcastle began to develop the hilly 145-acre Park Estate in 1829. For anyone who is familiar with the steps you will know this event was very challenging for everyone who took part and no doubt there were plenty of sore legs that evening and probably over the weekend too.

Well done to Claudia, Dan, Dave, Jack, Callum, Jakub, Rich and Paula who represented HWA, contributing a fantastic total of 148 laps helping the event achieve more than double it’s target.

We were delighted to take part alongside many other Nottingham businesses to raise money for Comic Relief and Red Nose Day. We’ve made a donation and you can too, use the following Just Giving link https://t.co/TyRrTZtq0U
