Construction underway on new residential care home in Radcliffe on Trent

Construction has begun on a new 3 storey residential care home in the Nottinghamshire village of Radcliffe on Trent.

The development will provide 68 bedrooms, along with ancillary spaces, access roads, and landscaped surroundings offering much-needed care accommodation in this sought-after location.

The site holds historical significance as the former home of Walter Harrison & Sons, a long-standing local business that had been based there since 1906. The company has now relocated to a new unit closer to the village centre. One of the site’s original buildings, known as Harrisons Mill and dating back to the 1930s, sadly could not be retained due to its deteriorated condition.

HWA previously provided structural and civil engineering support at the pre-planning stage and we’re proud to now be involved in the construction phase of this important community development.
