Christmas news 2021

As our thoughts turn once more to rest and relaxation (hopefully) over the festive season we will reflect on what has been another extremely unusual year with many ups and downs. Throughout the difficulties of living and working during a continuing global pandemic however, the team at HWA have given their all and we thank them all wholeheartedly. We have said goodbye to some team members but said hello to new ones, and it is with a positive outlook that we greet 2022.

The National Railway Museum in York was the location of our annual review meeting – they looked after us well with great facilities and delicious buffet lunch. This was followed by a walking tour and a chance to do some Christmas shopping. It was good to get out of the ‘office’ and spend time together in the same room, albeit at a distance. Some of us even met each other in person for the first time!

It’s been a busy month for Director Dan Bailey who took part once again in Nottingham Hot Property, the charity music event hosted by the City’s property and construction professional sectors. Proceeds went to ‘Billy’s House’ a local charity providing a safe and welcoming home to families whose children are undergoing treatment for cancer at Queens Medical Centre. Once more the show was a great success and Dan thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
